I'm a medical practitioner and had a very small practice that I wanted to grow into a business that provides good value to patients. I heard Lee Benson speak on a business podcast and was specifically impressed with his background of taking over a failing company and growing it into a successful business and achieving a high value exit. I read his book, "Your Most Important Number" and the whole approach of having a single metric to focus on and identifying drivers in your team for that number made a lot more sense. I therefore signed up and started working with Michael Rayball, a senior member of Lee Bensons leadership team. We went through my vision, then identified my most important number and drivers and got to work. We had regular accountability and strategy meetings. I gradually built a team (having been on my own), and Michael even sat in on the interviews to help me recruit the right people. In the space of just a year, I built a brand and a company that is well recognized in my sector that delivers good value to patients and has grown significantly in turnover. I cannot recommend the MIND methodology and ETW enough!
