Leadership Value Lab
The Leadership Value Lab is a small, monthly live working session for leaders who were promoted for performance and now have to get results through other people.
Lee Benson leads a structured conversation around a topic and tool ETW builds for the room, with time for members to bring their own situations into the work. $30 a month or $300 a year. Month-to-month, cancel anytime.

The Pattern
Most leaders get promoted because they performed. That isn’t the same as being prepared to lead.
The job changed the moment your work started running through other people.
Decisions are harder to make cleanly
Accountability stops being personal and starts being structural
The conversations that actually move things, the hard ones, are the ones nobody taught you to have
Meetings produce talk without follow-through
The team stays busy without ever being sure what work matters most
None of that means you’re a bad leader. It means leadership is a different job, and almost no one is taught how to do it in the moments that count. The decisions. The accountability conversations. Keeping a team focused under pressure.
The cost shows up on your team first, and then on you.

Performance vs Leadership
A different job in the moments that count.

The Room
The Leadership Value Lab is a live working room. Once a month, members come together with Lee Benson for a structured working conversation.
ETW builds a topic and a working tool for each session, and Lee walks the room through it: not a slide deck, a working asset that gets at the leadership moments most leaders never get to practice with someone who has actually done the job. Lee drives the discussion. Members have time within it to bring their own situations into the work, a decision they’re stuck on, a team member they can’t get traction with, an accountability conversation they’ve been avoiding, a priority they can’t get the team to actually work on, and Lee works them in real time alongside the session’s topic.
This is not a content library you watch alone. It is not a course. It is not a personality framework, and not a leadership theory delivered through video. It is a structured place to do the work, live, with someone who has run a business through twenty years of these moments.
Sessions are kept small on purpose. Small enough that the room can actually do the work, not watch a panel.
How a Session Runs
What’s in the Membership
01
A structured conversation around a topic and working tool ETW builds for the room, with time for members to bring their own situations into the discussion. Kept small on purpose.
02
See where you're strong and where you have the most room to develop across the practical areas of leading through others.
03
Short, specific lessons for the moments you keep hitting: running a one-on-one, handling a missed commitment, holding a team to the priority that matters most.
04
You can take them to your team. Built for real conversations, not for a binder.
05
Working through the same kinds of moments as you.
06
Small prompts that keep the work alive between sessions.

The Operator in the Room
Lee Benson built Able Aerospace from zero to more than $100 million in annual revenue and a mid-nine-figure exit, across a twenty-year run as its operator. He ran teams through hard quarters, made the calls that didn’t have a clean answer, and rebuilt the operating rhythm more than once as the company grew. The Lab is an hour a month working a real situation with someone who has actually done the job.
What Lee brings to the room is not a framework. It is a reflex for seeing the simple line through a tangled situation. It shows up the same way each time. Someone walks in convinced their problem is complicated, and ten minutes in, the room is looking at it differently.
“When you look at it this way, it’s just a math problem we can solve.”
That instinct is what the Lab is built around.
Who the Lab Is For
The Lab is for leaders who are responsible for creating results through other people and want a steady place to keep getting better at the moments that count.

It’s a Fit When
It’s Not a Fit For
The Lab works because you bring real work to it.
