About Cyndi

My approach to coaching involves assessing mindset, behaviors, and processes to facilitate the path to improve your teams’ Most Important Numbers. Over the past 25+ years, I have developed several frameworks and models to break the complexities of business into consumable and manageable steps forward. I have a knack for engaging front line teams in moving their organization forward using our MIND Methodology. My greatest reward comes from seeing teams make incremental changes every day to help transform their ideas into reality.

After a 10-year teaching career in the Industrial Technology Department at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, I left to spend a year working alongside the fishmongers at the World Famous Pike Place Fish in Seattle. From my experience, I authored, “Catch!: A Fishmonger’s Guide to Greatness” (2005) which sold over 80,000 copies, is translated in 17 languages, and received the IPPY Book of 2005 in the Business/Career category.

I’ve spent the last 15+ years coaching and training teams in diverse industries such as construction, pharmaceuticals, integrated defense systems, fintech, and manufacturing. These experiences led me to write two more books, “The Rudolph Factor: Finding the Bright Lights that Drive Innovation in Your Business” (2009) with Boeing’s C-17 team and “Be a Frontline H.E.R.O.!: A Parable to Propel Your Job & Life” (2018) to help first-time managers quickly develop skills to effectively manage others.

I’ve been fortunate to gain a few notable achievements, including earning a Bachelor of Science, two Master’s degrees, and a PhD in Leadership & Organizations, and receiving several teaching honors and recognition on top business book lists. I am also a Certified LEGO Serious Play Facilitator.
